• People across Europe have complained of blood clots post the vaccination jabs
• Some of the countries have temporarily suspended the vaccination drives
Coronavirus vaccine by AstraZeneca has been temporarily suspended by Austria, Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
People in these countries have complained of blood clots post the vaccination. Denmark, who made this move first is yet to decide if this will be done permanently. Currently, it is being assessed if the clots have developed due to the vaccination jab. More than 3 million people have complained about the same.
In Austria, a 49-year-old nurse lost her life post-vaccination due to severe blood coagulation. However preliminary probes show no correlation between blood clotting and vaccination.
The hold on the vaccination is temporary.
